The Challenge
The North Carolina Aquarium Society is a non-profit organization made up of four locations on the NC coast. Each location struggles to keep an independent image as well as a unified cohesive brand to unite the four locations: Fort Fisher, Roanoke Island, Pine Knoll Shores & Jennette's PierThe Solution
Our strategy is to create membership growth by providing separate monthly newsletters that promote educational programs, activities and events at each location. The monthly newsletter, SEAmail, goes out to 100 K + subscribers. It includes a quarterly strategic call with a marketing advisor to discusses our pattern in open rates, click rates, and user engagement.
The Challenge
A multi-channel campaign consisting of digital media and print ads, outdoor and other out-of-home media, targeted collateral, media outreach, social media posts, videos, and targeted direct mail. The Solution
We used a robust fact-gathering approach, with interviews, focus groups with all audiences, and surveys, to ensure that we remained on track with our messages and media. We learned with certainty, the pain points, hot buttons, and motivators of our target audiences in order to create the kinds of authentic and truthful messages that resonate with each of them.
